Learning Management System is something which is well known to us. I would have spent time explaining the LMS in detail about 5 years ago, but not anymore.
The goal of the Learning Management System is to provide remote students with a high-quality online learning experience.
Thanks to a large community supporting us to develop a high-quality tool, having a stable performance and a high level of security. The organizations get complete control of data without any concern of unauthorized access to data or intellectual property.
Key Features
Here are the key features of the Learning Management System that would assist you in conducting effective virtual classes with a focus on collaboration and learning outcome:
1. Live Online Classes: Teaching and engaging with the students in a personalized manner is now possible from anywhere with live classes having a whiteboard and optical pen.
2. Real-time sharing of audio and video: With high-quality audio and video, the instructor can enhance the student’s experience in attending online classes. When students keep their videos on during online class, it creates a stimulating and engaging seminar-like environment.
3. Interactive Multi-user Whiteboard: The instructor can use a whiteboard, for example, to solve math problems. Students can also be invited to draw on the whiteboard, which further increases the scope for collaboration during the virtual class.
4. Slide Presentations: Slides are the simplest and most standard tool to guide students in your online classroom. Slides can also be annotated to emphasize certain points whenever required.
5. Screen Sharing: The value of the slide show can be further enhanced by sharing the laptop screen to show some additional information.
6. Recording Lectures: The instructor can choose to record online classes so that students can playback them back later on.
7. Auto Recording Attendance: Facilitates and maintains records of student's attendance both for online and offline classes.
8. Online & Offline Test: Keep a check on the performance of each student in the most innovative manner with regular test-series on a regular basis. Monitoring of students’ performance through regular tests.
9. Online Assignments: Forget about the hassles of collecting and checking the papers and switch to the paperless method for a swift process. Swift processing of submission and assessment of tests.
10. Share Study Material: Easily ensure that everyone is receiving the study material with these enhanced and advanced features. All kinds of documents like power points, videos, podcasts, journal articles, etc. can be shared with students through this platform. Class Notes act as a shared space where your students, and of course you, can write down key points being discussed during the class.
Exclusive Learning Management System v/s Zoom v/s Google Meet
Exclusive LMS can be customized to be delivered under your domain with your branding and logo.
Detailed analytics about students' engagement and learning during online classes, including attendance, chat transcripts, poll answers, hands raised can be generated to provide live feedback to the instructor.
Exclusive LMS provides full control over data and intellectual property. Under no circumstances the data is shared with any 3rd party for any reason whatsoever.
Security
All content downloaded from the Learning Management System server to the user’s browser is secured with transport-level security (TLS) certificate over an HTTPS connection.
When the Learning Management System shares the user’s audio, video, or screen, the browser uses the built-in web real-time communication (WebRTC) libraries that transmit real-time protocol packets (RTP) over user datagram protocol (UDP) via Datagram Transport Layer Security.
Furthermore, to provide communications privacy for datagram protocols the media packets are encrypted using the Secure Real-Time Protocol.
